[DYER DEATH]

KILLED MONDAY WHEN A BULLDOZER HE WAS OPERATING AT THE DYER CITY LANDFILL
FLIPPED AND LANDED ON HIM. TENNESSEE'S OSHA IS STILL INVESTIGATING THE INCIDENT.
ESTES' SERVICES WILL BE TOMORROW AT 2PM AT KARNES AND SON FUNERAL HOME IN DYER.

[MMMMMM PADDLEFISH]
A lawsuit filed in Davidson County has commercial fishermen challenging the
state's efforts to limit the taking of a fish species that produces caviar-like
eggs. Paddlefish are coveted for their eggs, which can be processed into caviar.
The new rules say fishermen have to throw back Paddlefish...if they're shorter
than 37-inches this season...except in the Mississippi River.
[NURSING HOMES]
A new law effectively changes the Tenn-Care program to more evenly distribute
$1-point-2 billion dollars between nursing homes and home-and-community base
service providers. Governor Bredesen shifts money from nursing homes to
community and home care options for the elderly and disabled. Nursing homes use
to receive 98-percent of long-term care funds in the Volunteer State.
