One of the defendants charged in Jessica Currin murder is out on bond. According
to WPSDTV DOT COM, Victoria Caldwell, who testified about the Jessica Currin
murder case, was released from jail on an unsecured bond after giving birth to
her baby this month. The Paducah Sun reports her bond was amended to avoid
having Graves County pay medical bills for her post-natal care. Last year,
Caldwell pleaded guilty to evidence tampering and abuse of a corpse in
connection with the murder. She will not be sentenced until after all the
defendants in the case are tried. 31-year-old Quincy Omar Cross, of Tiptonville
was also involved with kidnapping, rape, murder, evidence tampering and abuse of
Currin in the 2000 case.
