BRIAN THOMAS

I just wrote a novel of my life.  After going back and reading it, I'm rewriting this as the 'cliff notes' version of it.  I am a graduate of Dyer County High School's class of 2000, and proud to be a Choctaw!  Those of you who have seen my picture and know me, know that this isn't my 'full' name, guess it will remain a mystery to you then. :oP

I've been a native of Dyer County (Tatumville/Churchton/Lapata/Newbern) since I was born, and have only been away from Tennessee for a partial year; that was before I started working here at SL-100 on 9/12/2006.  I've done just about everything possible in the television business except be a general manager of a station; same goes for the radio business.

I have worked at WDYR-TV Tri-33 News in Dyersburg back in its infancy (before it was sold), after that, worked at WBBJ-TV 7 in Jackson, Tennessee for 3 years... following that, at First Baptist in Jackson as director of their media department for three years, then for a year in Effingham, Illinois as a deliveries coordinator and seller of building materials at 'Menards' where you Save Big Money!   Uhhhh... and now, here I am, and I'm not going anywhere anymore!

I'm married to Nicole; have been married for 6 years as of 7/11/2009 (yes, didn't forget the date).  We have a one year old girl (Lynley), three dogs, and live out in God's country on the county line!

And now..... details of a personal nature.... :o)

For the HAM radio folks, look me up sometime, or catch me on the APRS or Echolink, or on the two meter 'dot 52'  (KI4KIE)  73!
